Devonshire & Cornwall Illustrated

 All plates from Henry Fisher’s Devonshire & Cornwall Illustrated.

 Fisher’s views for his Devonshire and Cornwall Illustrated were all approx. 155 x 95 mm (w x h) not including any title, imprint or dedication to fit pages measuring 145 x 230 mm. They were printed two to a page as shown here. The following plates were copied from a volume in the author’s collection and are reproduced approx. 5% larger than the originals. A small amount of retouching has been carried out to remove the browning of the paper and improve contrast. The page size of this volume is 265 x 210 mm. This seems to have been a standard size although large paper copies have been reported.

The sequence given here is the sequence as followed in the original issue and and is not the order followed by Somers Cocks entry S. 107. Numbers are the plate identification number according to Somers Cocks.
